DIY Backyard Beekeeping | Apiary Inspections in Florida by FDACS | Bee College Pics | Bee Beards

Florida Beekeeping | Apiary Inspections in Florida by FDACS (Florida Dept of Agriculture) | Bee College Pics | Bee Beards

Gary talks about how the State of Florida is helping save the bees and keeping the beekeeping industry safe from pests for beekeepers with apiary inspections:

🐝 Advise Florida beekeepers on pests and diseases

🐝 500 bait traps at all major ports for Africanized Honey Bees

🐝 Certify bees for shipment

🐝 Monitor ports, highways, and other high-risk areas

We want to reach out and support our state inspectors!

These inspectors also do a tremendous amount of Outreach and Education. They are always present at UF's Bee College events and teaching quite a few of the sessions. They are lovers of bees and all things bees...
